Robert Burns Supper

Each year the CHICAGO SCOTS gather together to celebrate the birthday (25 January), life and work of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns.

6:00pm - Cocktails courtesy of CHICAGO SCOTS 
7:30pm - Dinner seating, toasts and program
10:00pm - Music & Dancing

Menu 

First Course: Cock-a-Leekie Soup 

Second Course: Haggis (Scottish Gourmet) served with Rutabaga Mash and Potato Mash 

Third Course: 

Braised Short Rib of Beef, Shallot and Green Peppercorn Essence, Roasted Mushroom and Leek Garnish, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus and Broiled Tomato 

OR 

Oven Roasted Silver Hake, Roasted Garlic and Herb Butter Sauce, Parsley Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus and Broiled Tomato 

Vegetarian Option

Edamame Spaghetti with Roasted Red and Yellow Cherry Tomatoes Black Beans, Mushrooms and Basil Essence 

Fourth Course: Dark Chocolate and Scotch Mouse, Honey, Almonds and Hazelnuts, Scottish Shortbread 

Parking Options: 

Burns Supper attendees have access to ULC Valet and Self-Parking. ($10.00) For self-park you will pick-up a voucher when you leave for the evening. Valet parking: 0- 4 hours $33.00. 4 - 8 hours $35.00
