supporting a great cause:
Established in 1845 as the Illinois Saint Andrew Society, our Scottish organization is the oldest 501(c)3 charity in Illinois. Today, as the CHICAGO SCOTS, we have grown into one of the world's largest and most active Scottish cultural organization in North America.
Proceeds from our events support the Society's principal charity, The Scottish Home, which now includes The Caledonian House. Our Scottish Home offers a wide range of outstanding assisted living and nursing services. For 100 years, the Scottish Home has provided each resident with loving, person-centered care and true friendship. The Caledonian House is a new, best-in-class residence specially designed to meet the needs of people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Our philosophy of one-on-one memory care is inspired by the comfort of home and the warmth of family, ensuring that residents feel valued, loved and purposeful.
