Scottish american history club"

The Scottish American History Club and Museum are part of the Arts and Culture Division of CHICAGO SCOTS. Gatherings are open to everyone and there is no admission charge.

The History Club is primarily interested in Scottish people living in Chicago and Illinois. We often focus on members of the Saint Andrew Society, but all Scots are included especially if they have a role in the history of our area. We may have guest speakers who have special expertise in their historical area. Otherwise, the meetings are chaired by Wayne Rethford, President Emeritus of the Saint Andrew Society. The sessions are held in Heritage Hall which is located in the lower level of the Georgeson wing at the Scottish Home.
