Welcome to the only Scottish American Museum! This is an on-going project and new items will be added in the future so check back often.
There are several ways to search:
- Random - With a random search, click once on an object you wish to see larger. When the larger picture appears scroll down to "full details." If there is more than one .jpg listed for that item, you can also click on that picture to see more. You can also search for collections here; i.e., "Harris," "Wilson," "Mason," "Bes-Ben," etc.
- Keyword Search - Search kilt, sgian dubh, sword, lithograph or the name of any other items you wish to see.
- Advanced Search - Gives you even more options to narrow your search
Our museum is located in Heritage Hall at 28th and Des Plaines in North Riverside, Illinois, and is part of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society, the oldest charity in Illinois. It is open to the public the first Saturday of each month (excluding July August and December) or by appointment. Please contact us for a tour. There is no charge.
