Topic:  Strange Bedfellows: Scotland and Italy in History
Speaker: Edward Muir, PhD, Clarence L. Ver Steeg Professor in the Arts and Sciences, and Professor of History and Italian, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL

Dr. Muir is of Scots ancestry on both sides of his family.  His father's side are Muirs from Bannockburn, with his mother's being McKinnons from Skye. He strongly identifies with Scotland, even though my professional life has been devoted to Italy.  You won't want to miss this event by the distinguished scholar, Edward Muir!
